Peter Sloan became a chess expert quickly in High School, with a recommendation from the Fire Department was hired to work as a Chess Club Specialist as of when he was 19 years old. He went to S.U.N.Y. Purchase for graphic Design and began working on books with his father Sam Sloan whom had recently just gotten off parole, and while Peter's dad did not have a job was able to open an eBay account, and ever since then Peter and Sam have spurned out over 100 books into print. Peter needed to finish up with technical glitches in his work an went to post graduate study at New Horizons for 2 and a half years, and when completing his Microsoft Office Specialist was able to quickly make his books using solely Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat Professional, without any extra need for the other software’s they had been using up until that point, OpenOffice.org which is a great tool but has may technical problems.
In 2010 Sam as usual began having legal problems with his wife and was escorted back to the jail, never to be heard from again, but his son Peter was left off with a good publishing house, great know how of how to file copyrights of his work without needing to hire an attorney, a direct deposit of royalties every month, enough book titles to easily buy a co-op in New Jersey, and a lot of happy readers, even some American soldiers over seas writing once in a while for translation guides for the American-Afgan dictionary.
Peter Sloan today currently resides in his family home in Catskills New York rock climbing, walking nature trails and shooting Bison.
